Gracie's Boutique on Old South Pearl

Go to Gracie's Boutique for no other reason than to experience what boutique service is all about.  They are the model for friendly customer service.  They had to be the sweetest women I have ever encountered in a Boutique.  I also love a place that will show you where their sales are. 

VeronicaM is one of the brands at Gracie's Boutique.  The XL size in this brand is CLF (Curvy Lady Friendly)

These boots are handmade in Mexico by a company called "Old Gringo Boots"  I think they are adorable.

This place ranks high on the funkiness scale.  If you want to buy some hand designed furniture that you won't see anywhere else because it is the only piece of furniture ever created in this way... 5 Green Boxes is the place for you.

PJ's Boutique on South Pearl, Denver

PJ's is a cute little boutique on South Pearl. I loved the Miss Me Jeans they carry.





Especially the ones with the Fleur because they are so "Fleur-ty"...



I didn't try anything on this trip because they are not CLF (Curvy Lady Friendly).  If I could fit into their clothes, I would really dig this place!

Summer Fragrance?

What is your summer fragrance going to be?  I am leaning towards Lola by Marc Jacobs.  Nordstrom in Park Meadows has free samples. I love samples in a jar!  (of course, I am referencing the Phish Song, but I like the free samples in jars at Nordstroms, too!)

Curvy Ladies

Curvy ladies have a fashion designer in our corner. AnnaFesta in Denver designs clothes sizes 10-28.  Made in Colorado.  AnnaFesta won the People's Choice award at the Denver Style Expo. There are the cutest swing coats on their website.

What is more Colorado than a swingy dress with some paisley print?  I love this dress.  It details a strappy criss cross back with tie and a supportive built in bra. It hangs lower in the back.  My friends going to Red Rocks this summer will love this one! 

JJill... Definitely Colorado Style

I love to focus on the local stores but I think JJill says "Colorado" all over it.  JJill is Curvy-Lady friendly!!  This skirt and thin hoodie is photographed by the beach but if I put my photo editing skills to work, this could be placed in front of the Rocky Mountains and would not seem out of place at all!

Hair in Boulder

My favorite hair salon in Boulder, CO is owned by Jill Nicolosi-Maier. Jill loves it when you sit in her chair and say "make me funky-cool!" She has done hair for rock stars and she makes you feel like a rock star when you leave. In fact, you will want to go to a local boutique and glam it up.
